Past the sweeping driveway to the spectacular entrance you will find an open floor plan perfect for entertaining or spending time with family. The living room is a perfect retreat with a copper fireplace and flat panel television in addition to a breathtaking panoramic view. The elevated formal dining area feels like its own space, without being closed off from the rest of the great room. The gourmet kitchen is equipped with the best appliances, from the double ovens, to the gas cooktop with a unique copper vent. There is also a breakfast nook, wet bar and wine fridge, while the granite counter surfaces perfectly compliment the natural stone flooring used throughout. There is also a library and artist's studio.
With room for up to ten guests, there are three King rooms with ensuites and two Queen rooms with a shared bathroom. The loft style master suite also features a custom desk, curved to match the wraparound window and its own private patio in addition to the double sink and vanity chair, jetted tub with separate shower and fireplace. The poolside suite below the master doubles as a home gym, with an assortment of exercise equipment arranged to take advantage of the spectacular view, something shared by all bedrooms.
While the living spaces inside provide for every comfort, the patios and pool area overwhelm with their views. The beautiful mosaic-tiled terrace features a set of chaise lounges by the heated pool and hot tub, perfect for unwinding and soaking up that famous California sun. Alfresco dining awaits at the upper patio with the top-of-the-line barbecue and dining set overlooking the Pacific.
The house's location isn't just great for the magnificent view, it is also close to where you want to be, with charming La Jolla--host to high-end shops, fabulous restaurants, spas and family-friendly beaches--less than two miles away. Excellent Stay With Glorious Panoramic Ocean Views
The Sunset Villa I was an extraordinary experience. I HIGHLY recommend staying here if you are seeking an experience of relaxation, entertaining or spending time with family. The panoramic ocean views from the enormous curved windows took my breath away as soon as I entered the door. Not only is the house wonderful and fully equipped with fireplaces, a heated pool/spa, master bathroom and a whole lot more... the location is perfect. You are in perfect proximity to La Jolla's finest high-end shops, fabulous restaurants, spas, and family-friendly beaches. As for entertainment and things to do, there's horseback riding, scuba diving or snorkeling, seal and sea lion watching and I could go on and on. They have a list of recommendations for things to do and recommended places to eat. Monarch Luxury Villas also offers an amazing concierge service that provides just about anything you need or want for a perfect 5-Star Experience. Imagine a masseuse coming into your villa stay... they will make it happen. Relaxation at its finest. The customer service is fantastic. And, the Monarch team go above and beyond to make sure you truly enjoy your experience. I will definitely be back. Grateful to have booked this wonderful villa. And, the pricing is perfect for a luxury villa like this.
